Number Plate Stencils
FergieTrailerShop are pleased to now supply Number Plate stencils. These are designed specifically to replicate the original number plate painting method, and are placed onto the tractor once a black background has been painted on. Simply paint over the stencil in white (or off white) paint, leave a while to begin to dry, then peel the stencil off before the letters fully set.

2014 Tractor World Show Review
Fergietrailershop had its usual Trade Stall at the Tractor World Show on 1st and 2nd March 2014. Phil and Stuart were ‘on duty’ on both days and it was a pleasure to catch up with many of our regular customers, and also to meet some new ones. We were very busy on both days, which is good news.
Our new item was a front mounted ‘Taskers Box’. This was made by Taskers of Andover in the fifties and sixties and, being front mounted, allowed the tractor to be used for other work whilst also carrying things about in the box. As well as being very useful for work they should also prove popular on road runs, for carrying all the stuff that you need; tools, waterproofs, tow rope, flasks of tea as well as an extra big box of sarnies!
Two of our most interesting visitors were a couple from the Andover area who’s family had spent many years working at Taskers. They are going to investigate if there is a family history of manufacturing these particular boxes and will report back to us. There is also a chance they may still have some of the period literature, which would be very interesting.
We also talked to some enthusiasts from ‘up north’ who want to fit the new box to a Fordson Major. This was a recognised application but we need a bit of help with the fixing bracketry that is needed by the boys in blue. Between us we should be able to solve that one.
It just goes to show how much knowledge is wrapped up within the thousands of visitors to the show and demonstrates that ‘Knowledge’ really is one of those few things that is worth more when it is shared!

Tractor World Show, Malvern 2016
We will of course be at the Tractor World Show at The Three Counties Showground in Spring 2016.
The dates are 27-28 February 2016, which seems a bit early in the year, so remember to bring your thermals and wooly hat. Try to think ahead and pre-order the bits you need.
If you don’t need anything then call on us anyway to say hello and update us on your trailer projects and restorations.

Newark Vintage Tractor and Heritage Show 7-8 November 2015
FergieTrailerShop will have the usual stand (next to the heater) at the 2015 Newark Show.
For those who have not visited us before we will be on Stand number SS2 in the Stanley Sheldon Building. We will have the usual range of Ferguson trailer related goodies and our new line this year is the ‘ADROIT BRAKE CONTROL’, which is now available from us, after being manufactured and supplied by John Phillips for many years.
This neat little device fits the T20 range and enables the brake pawl to be operated remotely from a point near the gear lever, rather than fiddling about near the foot pedal. Much easier! It’s definitely worth coming to have a look.
We will have a stock of our ‘original quality’ footplates and we are also very keen to bring your pre-orderd items to the show for collection as it saves you the postage costs and it means that we do not need to spend as much time packaging them.
